Rear Shocks Service
I know it used to be in the tech center and there used to be detailed info on changing rear shop fluid but now I can't find it anywhere. I am now ready to service my rear shocks but I cannot find any info anywhere on this. Can anyone help please. Thanks in advance.

Re: Rear Shocks Service
I think I have a copy of the info on the rear shock oil change. I'll post it Monday night.

Re: Rear Shocks Service
The website that I had linked from here for that article is no longer on the net. It was a very good article, one that I tried to get a copy of from Jeff, but he had some computer problems I believe too and no longer had a copy of that article.Kim In Illinois wrote:I know it used to be in the tech center and there used to be detailed info on changing rear shop fluid but now I can't find it anywhere. If someone has that article or one comparable, please email it to me and I will again have it on the site.

Re: Rear Shocks Service
I guess I will be using the service manual for reference. Wish me luck. I'll let you know how it goes.

Re: Rear Shocks Service
Bill, Thanks again. I had saved this link before but when Jeff's site went down I no longer had it. From now on I will be saving everything to a work document.
This is an excellent tutorial that is easy to follow. Looks like a piece of cake.

Re: Rear Shocks Service
Why fool with it? Just buy some Progressive shocks for the rear
And while your at it ,just buy a new bike to go with them.
