Ignition Switch Wiring Harness - R & R ??

Post by Ohio Mike »

Need to replace my ignition switch wiring harness - have the infamous 'everything goes dead' problem that, so far, I have been able to recover from by wiggling said harness. What is the simplest way or what needs to come off and in what order to get at the harness for replacement?

Thanks,
Ohio Mike

Thanks for the pointer Gary but I'm pretty sure this is the ignition switch harness. When it fails, I loose EVERYTHING - spark, all lights, everything. Before the time change it happened on the way to work and boy oh boy is it dark and quiet out there an hour before dawn!

Was afraid you were going to say the fairing half had to come off. Think I knew that already but was in denial. Didn't have a clue how to get the switch out though. Thanks for the info and pictures.
