Just a short ride to the lake today

Lori and I hooked up with a couple friends yesterday for a few hours to tour around a small part of Lake Okeechobee. Here's just a couple pics of the sites of south Florida.

We stopped and one of the locks that control the difference of the water levels as inland waters make their way to the coast.

Until she discovered the wildlife was checking her out too.

He's a good 8 footer.

It was a great ride and prefect weather. And Dixie did escape the gator.
