Here is my ride and my wife's trailer, just kidding. I picked up this trailer last Aug (2012) Hooked it up to the bike went and fuelled up this was the first time I ever pulled a trailer behind a MC . The next day we left on a 1500 km trip all I can say is WOW!!! hardly noticed it behind the bike, you knew it was there but the bike handled it VERY well. All I can say is at 13 cu/ft of storage you have a lot of room for traveling needs and bringing home things for the grandkids. With the long hitch there is no tail waging I cruised easily at 120 km but fuel mileage was about 5 mpg less than two up riding with out the trailer. For the record I pulled in an weighed trailer axle and it was 300lbs add the 27lbs hitch weight . I am more than happy as we avg 38 mpg can.
PS Trailer is same length as MC
If your back tire lasts more than a season,
Then your not riding enough
Looking good Now that we are on the subject, can anybody tell me the best way to find a GOOD USED camper trailer to pull behind my XII, Lori and I plan to make longer trips and weekend get-a-ways this summer, and want to camp along with stay in motels along the way. Going to start setting the 88 XII up for the long haul rides and use the Nomad around here. Any of you Iron Butters out there got any tips? Mike, we will be spending the weekend at a camp ground in Leesburg, we will meet you at the Bakery, the Harley dealership down here has given our group The Veterans Nation Riding Association full use of his motorhome, that happens to be a semi tractor trailer with a 48 foot motorhome trailer, can't turn that down, lol, and we are staying in a 21 and over camp ground what happens in Leesburg, stays in Leesburg.

Sounds like fun. I will continue advertising for Leesburg/Yalaha on this forum, through e-mail and any other way I can think of when the date gets closer but for long term planners that live in or may be in Florida, please keep 27 April 2013 open. The link below is a sneak preview of what Leesburg is like and how many Voyagers have shown in the past. This will be our sixth annual meeting.
Here is some pictures to get people's interest. When it gets closer I will post pictures of what Downtown Leesburg is like during Bikefest and some of the Florida Hill Country nearby that we will be riding in after lunch (there are a nice rides to the West and to the East of the town which should fit into anyone's final destination).

I have the same trailer behind my 2010. Handles very well. Headed to Alabama for 2 weeks first of May then to Alaska end of June from Iowa. Can't wait to see how handles on the long rides.
