Photo of a Voyager operator with one arm
My son took a photo of a guy riding a red Voyager, probably a 96 or a 97, and from back a ways he thought it was me. As he got closer he saw that not only wasn't it me, but the guy has an arm missing. I have the picture in the computer, but klutz that i am, i still don't know how to post it here. At first look, i thought "ah, the fella just has his arm out of the sleeve". But then i saw that there was no clutch lever on the left handlebar. It seems almost impossible. He was riding in my area here on Long Island, and i hope i might see him sometime and talk to him. If someone here knows how to post a picture, send me an E Mail address and i'll foward the picture. That i can do.

Re: Photo of a Voyager operator with one arm
I have a friend that lost part of his arm in Vietnam, also part of one foot. I've rode with him twice. If I remember correctly, it's his left arm, and the clutch is on the right and the front and rear brake are activated by the foot pedal. He does fine. Rides slower than some but that's to be expected.
Edit: he has a prosthetic that "grips" the handlebar.
