-The fork oil, and rear drive oil and rear suspension oil are what type of oil? Are they all the same or ??
- I was searching for the spark plugs and I found two under the gas tank (1 on each side)...aren't there 4? If so where are the other 2 plugs? are they under the gas tank?
I used to have someone take care of this stuff for me so I never worried about knowing this stuff but I now would like to know how to do it myself so expect me to be pestering you guys for info
Access to the #2~3 plugs is under the battery. Pull the 3amp fuse first for the radio, then disconnect the battery and remove. remove the battery tray and you will see the #2 and #3 plugs. Bear in mind they all sit down in a well that can retain all kinds of crap, all that MUST be blown out before removing the plugs. There are a few posts here that show pics of the various ways and tools required to change them out. Do yourself a favor and get either a hard copy book or have someone here email you a PDF format version of it.
All the required info on oils and procedures are in the book. However there are some shortcuts that we do, such as the fuel filter replacement. So always ask for a better way. Gene Kap.
