so glad your electrical problem is solved ! .....o.k ...so how do I (you) make those identifying
circles around the problem spots ?......(I suck at computer stuff )
O.K.... I learned how to make circles and (or) boxes around things on pictures...from the selection easel (using "paint")
but....once I have done that ,I can't seem to be able to then move that completed photo to the
AVA "reply" box.....or....."new topic" box........ any help or suggestions would be great !
thank you .......................tony
I'm thinking the completed photo would have to be moved BACK to photobucket.... but I can't accomplish that seemingly easy task either ! Duh ! applies here.
I split this discussion off the General - Voyager XII (1200 Four) forum topic "lights and gauges out" as it's off-topic.
After making your edits to a photo using Paint or any other program, save the photo, upload it to Photobucket or wherever you host your photos online then follow the instructions in this topic (You've already posted photos before Tony! You cannot "drag and drop" photos into the "reply" section.):
Two different software systems made by different companies and each chose to handle photos differently. The drag-and-drop system used by the classifieds program physically stores the photos on our website using our disk space and bandwidth while the forum software simply displays the photos in your browser, calling them from other servers as needed. Storage space is not really an issue for us but could be for larger organizations with larger forums. In the end, when using free software you can't be too choosy!

Thanks for that tip Ron. I knew I could not drag and drop into the forum, but what I did not know was that the "save" and "save as" was under the dark blue box in the upper left hand corner of the "paint".
Once I found that ,I figured it out from there. Once again..... thanks for your patience when dealing with us "less than competent"at computers, members !
Showing my competence at drawing a circle (kinda crooked) on a picture.
Thanks Scott, My future posts will now start looking like what most people have known since 1985 !
Oh well......better late than never. Might be a idea for a part of our forum, to help the
"less than competent" users learn a thing or two from other members on creating better posts and getting their message across...............................tony
Hmmm, why do I call you Doug? I dunno! Just old age I guess. I bet I won't anymore, tho'! Maybe I perceived that your middle name was Doug! Ooo, eee, ooo!
