Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!
Got a tech tip for Voyager 12's from your personal experiences, or one complete with pictures and instructions, here's where to post it. You can also ask about tips or procedures here.
A little while ago I had replaced my back tire. I was told that the Dunlop E3's were no longer available, and in the interest of time I put on a Dunlop D404 150/90/15. After 5000 miles, the tire is now bald and I'm not happy. All I seem to find in the E3's are 85/15's . Can I put this size on my bike and if not, what's my best alternative. Thanks for the help.

My local shop ordered the MV85-15 for the rear, but had no access to the MT90-16. As I recall I went to the Dunlop site and all they showed for bias E3 front was a 130/90-16 which I ordered. Should be the same.
You asked about an alternative tire to the E3. I ride Pirelli MT66 Route tires only. I get around 10,000 out of the rear, and it looks like 12,000-15,000 on the front, though I'm still waiting to wear that one out. Not as much mileage as the Dunlop E3's, but they have superb wet/dry grip (feels like they're glued to the road in rain), and I choose that over mileage due to the fact that we tour two up, 98% of the time. YMMV. Cheers!
