Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!

Another, what not to do

Post by Avidrider62 »

When pulling starter, you have to remove oil fill cap. Well, a few months ago, a starter bolt fell in the hole. Finally, on way back from Carl Leo's home, this bolt finally showed up as an issue. I couldn't shift down well and going into first was impossible. So I was riding, to get home, in 2nd gear to take off. Shifting down to 2, not to get into neutral. Neutral, it was no fun trying to move into 2nd. See pics. Two cell pics of what I viewed on camera and flex finger retrievers. Image Image Image

The bright whitespot next to the starter bolt is camera shining thru the magnetic pick up. It's a weak magnet, so retrivers helped. took about an hour.
