I have kept randallor's post of broken clutch cover bolts, dated April 17-2015,in my mind since he posted the problem and the results. This fall I decided to try spraying the bolts with a little squirt of Liquid Wrench after a ride every week or so.

During winter service I decided to remove, never seize, and reinstall the bolts one at a time,in case I ever needed to get to the clutch. All but 3 came right out ,2 of this took a little rocking back and forth. The top front one, which is not a blind hole, took me 1/2 hour of gently rocking, spraying both on the front, and in the back, until I got it

They all now have anti-seize and move

I am certainly glad I went through that now, instead of on a trip.
