Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!

Clutch friction plate replacement
Has anyone here done a clutch friction plate (only) replacement on a 94. If so, is it a straight forward process like most bikes?

Re: Clutch friction plate replacement
I had a rattle in my '99 early this year, which I incorrectly thought may have been loose tangs on my discs.
To check them out,I removed them, which checked out to be in specification. So,yes it is very straight forward with no special tools needed, other than a torque wrench.
At that time,it had 79,000 miles on the original discs, and they were well within specs.
The rattle turned out to be a loose bolt which holds the alternator drive coupling on.
