Hope all are well. Please forgive me if this is a redundant question. I went to "wake up" my 95 Voyager XII from its winter hibernation, and the choke is frozen. I tried lubrication with no change. Any suggestions before I go through the contortions to replace the choke cable? It would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!

Re: Frozen Choke
Unscrew and split the left switch assembly to see where the cable comes thru the shroud. Use this pen to incert between inner cable and cable Shroud. squeeze
This into the cable until it runs out the other end if it’s not all gummed up. Even if it is squeeze as much in as you can get in. Work the choke back and forth very little at a time. It may work loose. I lube my cables with prolink once a year.

Re: Frozen Choke
Thanks, I just ordered the pen, I'll give it a shot, I really appreciate the advice, and more importantly thanks for the offer of assistance, I'll let you know how it goes, worse case I'll change the choke cable. Keep in touch.
Thanks,
Gerry

Re: Frozen Choke
I used 3-in-1 oil on all my cables. Choke was immovable before, works fine now. Just did the same with all the cables on the Shadow.
