Checking coolant level

Post by veeger »

I guess my eyes are getting old. Can someone tell me where to find the coolant level? Owner's manual shows pic but still can't find it. Thanks!

What? Why doesn't Duane have access to this site?

Check the coolant level in the overflow behind the side panal under the seat. You can see it from the engine looking back with a flashlight. At least that is where I recall it is located on this bike.

There appears to be no joy in Mudville for some reason. Why would Duane have no access?

If you've installed the KAMS kit, the new left-side black fan shroud covers the view port. The only way to see is to remove the shroud - then you have the view shown in the manuals.
