Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!

I have shined mine up by using a fine grit sand paper, the higher the number the better then coming back and spending a lot of time using an aluminum polish. They will turn black on you as you polish, I have even used really fine steel wool with the polish on areas that remain rough but they will shine up. If you go onto Youtube you can find videos that can show you how to do the best job. I will warn you it is a lot of work.

I have been using an aluminium polish known as Solvol Autosol since the late 60's, although the more recent tubes I have bought only have the name Autosol. It is one of the best I have found.

You will have to strip the clear coat off first, I did mine during my rebuild, striped, sanded and buffed on a buffing wheel with compounds, then sealed Liquid Glass. I posted what I did when I did it with pics, it's been a couple years and not sure how to search for it here. They look great

Edit, I found the link on the AV Board of the whole project, scroll down a couple pics to see forks
