Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!

Recruiting call

Post by Okie34 »

Ok, which one of you 'honyocks' called me the other evening? 810 area code. You left a message, but I had a hard time understanding it!

No, I'm not upset, just curious. Yes, I will be "re-joining" the AVA. Just need to get other things out of the way first (like heated grips cause winter is just around the bend!)

That was probably Bronson, our membership chairman. He has an 810 area code. He's been calling members to let them know their membership is about to expire (or already has. . .)

Ok, that would explain it. I was just curious. Couldn't understand what the message was about....

Ok, I just tried to find when my membership is due. Could be it would smack me in the face if it had hands, but I couldn't figure it out. Shows member sign up date (mine is two years ago in Jan'14), but that is as far as I got.
Not that I wouldn't enjoy Bronson's call, but don't want to take a chance on lapsing.
Also, again thanks for all you all do to keep this club alive. (wouldn't have a lot of time to participate, but would love a club in the Arizona area).

Ken, your membership card should show when it expires (lower left corner).
If not shoot Bronson an email or PM and he'll be able to look it up for you.

Hi kjsett -

I'm new here, as I recently purchased a new 2013 Voyager as a nice two-up bike for my wife and I when she's feeling lazy and not wanting to ride her own. She rides a Vulcan 900 Classic and I also ride a Vulcan Drifter 1500, which is set up with a single saddle.

Have you ever considered joining up with the Phoenix Vulcan Riders? We're a large group (60-70 members), but as with all groups, have much fewer "core" members. Out of our memberships, we have many Nomads and Voyagers. Our monthly rides usually attract 20-25 bikes. I'm the VP - check us out at http://www.phoenixvulcanriders.org
