Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!
I sent a email to everybody's email that I could find titled (First Mid-Atlantic chapter email).
If you didn't get it or you want to be part of are chapter send me a PM and I will send it to you.

I sent an email to all the members of the new Mid-Atlantic chapter that I have emails for.
At this point we have 12 members and I expect more to join.
Anyway I emailed you to see who is going to the Rally in Asheville to get some input on riding down there together or meet up with us on the way.
My thoughts were to take the Blue Ridge Parkway down.
The north most members would probably be going down Route 81 and pick up the parkway Somewhere around Steeles Tavern Va.
Give me some input on this the Rally will be here before we know it.
Again if you didn't get an email I need your info, or you want to be part of are chapter send me a PM or email

Update I have 5 rooms reserved around the 174 mile marker on the parkway.
At this point 3 are spoken for, I told them I would let them know how many I would need for sure by 6/1.
The rooms have 2 full size beds each
as if 5/12 there were still 4 more rooms available.

Hello to everyone, I am looking for a photo, from the side of a 1700 so that I can produce a drawing of same, to complete a proto type of this logo. Also any input of how the green 1200 looks so far. I also need answers to a question on logo's and patch work. What type of file format do they use for their equipment , or do they do their own artwork based on a photo

hey folks! Look here...KennyCope a.k.a. Ron Alestock created a Facebook page for the Mid-Atlantic Voyagers group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/2965768 ... 3/members/
Shamefully I must admit that I know nearly nothing about Facebook so that's the best I can do. I don't know how you get listed or added or what-ever they call it (don't tell my girls they'll kick my butt cause I work in the I.T. dept at the hospital ) but I don't' know how it all works. Beth (my wife) does have a FB account and is one of the members already.
Mid-Atlantic Voyagers chapter secretary {"scribe"} 2001 Voyager XII We may not know them all, but we owe them all! Thank a Veteran today!
I don't use facebook either so I couldn't use the link as it requires signing in! What I need to know is who is the "President" (or whatever) of the new Mid-Atlantic Voyagers and are there any other officers (Vice President, ? ? ?)

It is so very nice to see a new chapter developing in the AVA . I have watched some of the struggling going on concerning the development and continue to be reminded of so many of us that have gown through the process. One never knows the next move but most of us seem to put it together through all the struggles. Part of the challange is to accept the problems and frustrations and still not give up. The challanges are always exciting; chapter name, a Board of Directors or just Ride Leaders, means of gaining funds to operate, logo development, and other problems. In spite of the challanges a comaradrie develops. Friends become closer and concerns and relationships develop. Please accept the encouragement of those that have gone before. More power to the new North East Chapter of the AVA. So many of us look forward to seeing the new chapter at Asheville.
Please do not hesitate to call upon the organization for direction and advice.
Thanks Sir Old Dirt, words of encouragement are always welcome. Time is always difficult to manage as I get older. Time seems to go much quicker as I get older....and I find I have less of it.

I added the Mid Atlantic Voyagers to the AVA Chapters page on the main website. I used the logo Gene posted above just as a temporary place holder. Let me know when you finalize your logo and I will replace it.

Put me in the mix coach. Wife and I (Bob & Dot) don't
get to ride much as we'd like. She a still works full time,
and I'm on the golf course most of time.
Got back into riding after about 15 yrs. Picked up a
'99 XII with 14k +. Needs some tender loving care. All
fluids changed along with new tires. Rear fender brace
and lef bag mount bent. Was able to get used parts of
of E-bay.
