A new way to take a video...
http://www.polaroid.com/cube
Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!

Re: The video CUBE...
I went cheap and used my motorola phone on vacation in August. I bungee corded it to the left mirror hit record and went on my way. It did pretty good I was impressed. I would have posted the video but did not know how.

By the time you buy their mounting accessories to get it on a bike, you might as well buy a Go pro camera.

Re: The video CUBE...
From what I read, the Cube is much easier to set up and operate. I have two GoPros and most of their mounts and underwater cases. For a basic $99, the Cube looks pretty good for basic action clips. Seems to be set up the same way I would set up my GoPro for sports action vids. I like the single, multifunction button on top with three basic inputs for full control. No so sure about a magnetic mount, though! They say it's stable at 35mph, but what about 135mph on the track? All that wind, then just hit one small bump and it's gone, I would bet!

Here is the camera I used
http://www.tachyoninc.com/bikercam.php
It was $229.00 on Amazon and came with 3 different mounts, a waterproof cover, and power cord with CL adapter. It can record in 720 or 1080p. And uses a 32gb sd card for storage. It records in 15 minute sections so it makes it easy to find the footage you need.
Here is how I mounted it to my bike:
