Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!

Baker Air Wings?
You betcha!
I've only put three hundred miles or so on my Voayager since last Monday, but today's couple hours in tropical jungle weather conditions of 100F heat index and 90% humidity, seated behind that AMAZINGLY effective tall windshield made a believer out of this old guy.
The ability to generate some 'breeze' will be greatly appreciated and may well add some riding days each season.
I'll try to post some pics of the install once the package arrives.

Re: Baker Air Wings?
You will not be disappointed by the breeze these Air Wings can generate. I suggest you get the upper and lower...well worth it. You will also like it when the cooler weather comes. By closing the wings, you will get a lot less wind on you and your passenger. Enjoy them and have a great riding season.
If it is to be, it is up to me. Vince

Re: Baker Air Wings?
According to his website, the upper/lower combo is ONLY for 1987 and newer Voyagers, not my '86? So the single version (new generation) is what I ordered.

Re: Baker Air Wings?
Probably because of how they mount. The '87 and newer Voyagers have wind-deflectors (winglets) on the fairing and the '86 does not.chicagorandy wrote:According to his website, the upper/lower combo is ONLY for 1987 and newer Voyagers, not my '86? Re: Baker Air Wings?
What is the price? About 30.00?I think? If you take them off the GL then that bike will be without. But that is my 2 cents.

Re: Baker Air Wings?
Here is a link to Baker's website with pricing for our Voyagers - they are NOT cheap.
http://bakerbuilt.com/bbairwings/87voy.html
Sadly they sent me an e-mail that my selection is on indefinite back order while they try to source arm brackets which are out of stock.
Good grief.

Re: Baker Air Wings?
Look at the GL 1500 and other models they mention on that page. Should work
Find someone with them on their Wing, shouldn't be to hard to locate

The Emgo Air Deflectors for the GL1100i have been use as a suitable substitute for the Baker Air Wings.
Here is a set on Ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Emgo-Air-De ... 0993398446

Re: Baker Air Wings?
Thanks, Randy for the write up. I hate drilling holes into the faring but I guess there is no choice. Here in Vegas I think air flow is more important than a few holes in my faring.
