Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!
As I was on a short[50 mile]ride today,I went past a Dairy Queen, looked over and saw an 86 VXII .I turned around to talk to him and said he just traded an 800 Suzuki Veloisa[Spelling] even up on it,added a clip on trike kit,and loves it.Found out my brothers go on skiing trips with him.
Peg and I were on a ride today, and saw a blue and cream VXII headed north between New Philadelphia and Dover,Ohio about 2:30 on Route 77.Does anyone on this forum have this bike.I always enjoy seeing other Voyagers out on the road.
You've already seen more Voyager XII bikes in a few days than I have ever seen around here. I saw one 2003 once in front of my car, turning onto a side street but I was on the way to work and couldn't pursue him. That was maybe 5 years ago. And of course Charlie Oneill who used to be on here. He lives in the same area, and of course Gator Mike whom I love like a brother and lives 40 miles from here so I don't see him too often. Other than that we seem to be Voyager XII poor in these parts.
Yeah I know two people who own voyager1200's and while on a ride yesterday I talked to a guy riding a voyager. I know another guy in the next town over that wishes he never sold his voyager to buy a Harley. ohiojack
While I was mowing my lawn today,I saw two red bikes go past, took another look and the 2nd one was a VXII,'86? They must be making more ,as many as I have seen this year .I need someone to make me a poster of all the years/ colors so I can identify them.
It is tough living in what must be VXII rich territory. I saw a green one['98/99]in the Dover,Ohio, fairgrounds when I was working at the steam show, and a silver one today, between Boliver and Carrolton.Does anyone know about these?
Your so right, There is such an abundance of 1200's in Ohio, I had a guy give me one for free this weekend. It was a long trip out there and I didn't get any sleep this weekend going out there and back ( 1,165 miles ) But it is a 2000 /1200 , just like mine.
On the way back east leaving at 2:00 in the afternoon, two voyagers past me, while I was pulling a voyager in the trailer east on I-70 ( three running voyagers on the same roadway.....) Felt like a rally...
I have given a few bikes away in my time to help others keep their bikes going with parts and I guess Karma has a way or rewarding the good you do. This will surely keep my bike running and have some spare items for others. Right off the bat, there is a back rest from it I would like to get off to someone.
Anyway Loren , your state has quite a few 1200 's still rolling around. Keep up the good work Ohio....

I'm always amazed at when you buy something new, how many you see on the road afterwards. Growing up, I dreamed of owning a Wing one day. When I seen a big touring bike, I always went back to that happy dream and everything I seen was a Wing. Now that I own my 90 Voyager, I know that there is a difference and can tell the difference. They are so close you have to really look. Since buying mine in the last year, I've noticed 3 others in my area. However, I just got back from the 2015 Tomahawk "fall color" ride last week. It became a game of sorts to find another Voyager. We seen several Wings but never did see another Voyager the entire time up there with all those bikes in town.

A lot of motorcycle people will stop me in a parking lot to ask me about my Voyager. I even had a cute U.S. Postal delivery girl stop on her route and ask me about it yesterday.
I guess because there are so few around in my area?

Went to Ruidosia last month for AspenCade? Onlt saw 1 other XII. The guy was riding with a group/club. All the other riders were riding harleys or want-to-be harleys. Had several riders give my Voyager the once over.
I love it when someone pulls up next to me at a red light and tells me what a nice looking bike it is
than freak when I tell them it's an 84 Kawasaki Voyager
I was working in the middle of nowhere, east of Hiseville,Kentucky, Tuesday and saw a burgundy [2002?] VXII go past the field I was working in.It was a joy to see one ,and made the upcoming trip to Hurley even more exciting

Cindy and I were riding around town last Saturday and a couple of crotch rockets with early twenties kids pulled up at a light. Thumbs up from all four kids, then one asked, what year! When I pointed and told him '84 and "79 (sidecar) he freaked and said both were much older than him!
Yes, it is so cool when that happens! Especially when both of their bikes were really ugly beaters! Now, their biker chicks with them,...well..................!!!
Saw a Burgundy XII today on Hiway 51 at Thunderbird today. I was in my Silver Dodge PU so he didn't notice my wave. I thought I was the only one in Phoenix. Actually that is about to change.
Next week heading out for Washington State (Vancouver) then on to Colorado. We will then leave the bikes near Albuquerque NM with our son while we come back to pick up our last load from here as we relocate. More later in a fully post.

guy at a stop light started yelling at me. I thought he was going to say something was wrong with my bike when I figured out he was complimenting me on it. Said he had owned 2 in the past.
