Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.

New York Motorcycle Graveyard
Once upon a time in Lockport, New York, an abandoned warehouse was filled to the brim with old motorcycles. A man only known as Kohl cultivated a huge collection of the vehicles before selling them all in 1997 and passing away in 2002.
After that, the warehouse was condemned by the authorities and many of the bikes were sent away to be used for scrap metal and spare parts — but not before photographs of the collection went viral and allowed many motorcycle fans to seek out the collection and buy some antique spare parts.
What a great photo !......Only wish I could say ALL of those old treasures were out back of my place, !
I'm thinking that alot of us all watch the TV show "American Pickers" and see these sites all too often !
I hate to hear that too many times ,most "guys" lifetime of treasures ,end up in the scrap pile !

i visited walter and anna kohl many years ago and was amazed at their collection. i was interested in some of the old german motorcycles he had at that time but the exposure to the elements made them
in rust in peace condition.

* Same will happen to me Tony, There are tools I own that some will be clueless on what they are even used for. And with no son's to take them over all this will be just sold off. And with the several tool box's at work, if Marie don't get there while my body is still warm, I feel there will be some neat items missing from that collection before I am in the ground.

...WOW ...Gene ! We must think alike !....I have been going thru all of my shtuff in the shop making "labels" and leaving directions about all things completely irrelevant to others ! why ?
I don't think that I'm going anywhere, and I think my stuff is useful ....but with this "new generation"
of "youth" ...if it ain't a video game ...and you actually have to have some skills to make it happen....it really makes ya wonder about a lost "art" of "hands on"
We both just might be right ,in seeing a large dump truck backing up to our" sacred space" and all of our treasures , simply discarded ! .......Tony
