Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!

Thank you for that post, trikebldr,
I have not seen one of those in real life, but I have seen a local truckster
How do you think the packagecar would like the trip to Hurley?
I enjoy riding my Eagle, but it likes attention[maintaince]
Last year my repair cost was $0.25 per mile

Re: Especially for Cushman Eagle!
Eagle if you would ride one all that way to Hurley, I would join you on my bike and follow along to be sure you got there! That packagecar looks like it pivots at a point WAY behind the front wheels for steering, so that would make it awfully unstable at any speed unless the rider were The Incredible Hulk! And, being a Topper-based scooter, it must be way under-powered! What were they, 8hp? Toppers were for the geeks, but Eagles were for the cooool guys!cushman eagle wrote:Thank you for that post, trikebldr,I have not seen one of those in real life, but I have seen a local truckster

OK, now put your operating costs of your Eagle into a longer term average! Didn't you spend a lot more last year than other years? I sure can't talk yet about my cost per mile on both of my Voyager 1300's combined. So far it's been $75/mile! I have about 40 miles on each and paid about $6000 total for both, not to mention all the money spent on gathering a ton of spares! just the initial cost works out to $75/mile! So, I do know how you feel! But, once the sidecar is mounted, that will RAPIDLY go down! now, gather all yer quarters and go ride that Eagle!

Re: Especially for Cushman Eagle!
Cushman did not have Anywhere near 8 HP
back in '47 when that packagecar was built, however many early Cushmans were repowered with the later 8HP engines. With the Mikuni carb, cleaned up intake port and raised compression that I did to mine,it is estimated to have a WHOPPING 10HP
It will top out at 60MPH,and feels rather stabile at that speed, but the brakes are lacking for that speed.
