I was revving the engine with my alternator tester because I went out today to start the bike and the battery was dead...first time I tried since the rain ride and my alternator pushes to 13.6 is that good ? Anyway battery wasn't fully charged yet..I'm impatient ...but I noticed a puff or two of white smoke coming from the cover ...any help...would be great...
My thoughts are water was possibly in there still or I fried something ...any help is greatly appreciated
Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!

Re: Puff of white smoke from right Kawasaki cover beside bra
It could be water vaporizing off the alternator
.Did you notice a smell of burned wiring,if not I would continue to monitor the voltage of the battery.13.6 volts at the battery is within reason and nothing to be concerned with if it stays there with the engine running.
