Australian 2003 Voyager owner

I will try and keep this succinct. I recently bought my first ZG1200 and here in Australia they are what we call a grey import. This means they were never officially imported by Kawasaki and were brought in by individuals, normally American citizens who could not bear to be parted from their bike.
It does mean that although many maintenance parts are shared by other Kawasaki models and available in Australia, any extras I would like are only available from the USA.
Two extra items I am having trouble finding are the trunk extenders and a towbar (trailer hitch). People seem to put my request in the too hard basket when asked to ship to Australia or ignore emails.
I am happy to pay via PayPal if anyone has a hitch or extenders they wish to sell.
Also looking for recommendations for bling part sites that ship international as my wife would like more chrome for me to polish

Congrats on your recent buy, NiftyNev. There have been tremendous rate hikes in overseas shipping costs, recently. Gone are the days of low cost sea surface mail.

A decade ago while living in Okinawa, I came across similar problems with shipping auto and motorcycle parts from US. I was working as a civilian on one of the US military bases there, we could receive US parcels. Even then, some were reluctant to ship overseas. One of them was Bike Bandit. They were good when I was in US, but would not ship to Okinawa. That was the last time I ordered from them.

(A side note, we found on Okinawa that BBC Australia provided greater unbiased US news reporting than the US mainstream media, that we watched them regularly on TV. I even remember listening to BBC Australia news on shortwave radio 40 years ago. They were speaking of war in Borneo that we never heard from in US MSM. Fake news from US sources is nothing new.)

For parts, you might want to check with Ron Ayers, http://www.ronayers.com/. They are a dealer in Greenville, North Carolina, US, their parts prices are competitive, and they will respond if you contact them. Their FAQ states that they do ship overseas.

Regarding bling, one useful item I found is a billet outdoor air manual temperature gauge from China, that mounts to the handle bars. I bought mine for around $12 US from Amazon.com.

Another is an analogue quartz movement clock. Although the radio shows time when it is off, it only shows station when radio is on. I got tired of pushing the clock function to show each incident I wanted to read the time.
