Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!
Have to change the oil pan on my 2003 and can't locate what the torque value is for the pan bolts. Would someone like to share that with me?
Also, when changing the oil you drain from both bolts and take the filter out ... then refill with 3 qt 22 oz ... when I took the pan off, after removing both plugs and oil filter, a few more ounces of oil was still in the pan ... anything with that? Or just don't worry about it and still go with normal amount?
Thanks in advance.

The torque for the bolt is 52 to 69 inch pounds for 6mm bolts. this is also solvent dry cleaned. There are 2 bolts that are supposed to have a non permit locking agent what I would call blue loctite. If you have a Kawasaki service manual the diagram is on 6-7.

I'm sure that when one does a oil change that those couple of ounces are still in the motor. If it were me, I would go ahead and add the amount that was remaining in the motor when the pan was pulled to the 3 quarts 22 ounces
