We've been running in the -8 F to -17 F range, for a few weeks now. Supposed to hit positive double-digits, on Wednesday! Getting ready to break out the Hawaiian Shirts, and the Bermuda Shorts on Wednesday! It will feel downright balmy!
I've visited different parts of the world. I always come back to Minnesota. I had a week of training in Los Anegeles, CA, the week before Christmas, back in 1994. It was sunny, mostly clear skies, and in the low 80's, every... single... day... I
hated it. I seriously found it monotonous. The roadways had a coating of grease on them, which was slippery to walk on, with rubber soled shoes. My Driver's Ed. classes came back to me: "It can be very slippery roads for the first 20-30 minutes after it rains, due to oil and grease on the road surfaces." Never experienced it, until California.
Worked a week in Phoenix, several years ago. Same greasy roads, but sitting outside, at night, on leather seats, in a restaurant, with nothing but blue skies overhead, no clouds, no worries about rain... That almost convinced us to move there. Even talked to locals, about the heat: "There are two months each year, that are pretty unbearable, but that's it!"
Hmmm... Tempting. We also drove in rain, four days out of seven -- we were there for their entire year's worth of precipitation! Saw electronic road signs warning of slick road conditions...

Still living in tropical SE Minnesota. Still loving the seasonal changes. Wouldn't mind a little of that 'Global Warming', however.

Cheers!
