Getting ready for the rally!!!!

Post by HMB Don »

Two and a half weeks and the start of the rally. Today I ordered a new battery (Shorai). My old battery (Shorai) is 5 3/4 years and 90,000 miles old. No problems, just preventive maintenance. Next week change oil & filter on the 1700. The gold wing trike is getting a new E-4 again just PM. Also wiring the trike for pulling a trailer. Bought a used Roll A Home from AVA/NorCal member Wayne Bright. Picking the trailer up in Fresno , CA.

ANY Gold Wing riders, I have used OEM Fog Lights, used Kuryakyn passenger floor boards, used throttle body off a 2007 GL1800, complete. All the valves on the throttle body worked when I removed it. My misdiagnosis, so Trisha got a new throttle body on her trike. If interested and your an AVA MEMBER I'll give them to you for FREE.

Hello Don, I had not made reservations. I wanted to do this NC run see how I felt. I may show up just to see ya'll for a day or two. The bike has had allot of maintenance , right down to new fuel line from motion-pro. Plenty of miles left on it, hope the weather becomes more like summer.
Gene.
