good day. will be riding down to LA from Vancouver Island. pushing 3 days down on I5, 19, 20, 21 Mar 2022. return 26-30 via 101.
anybody with a couch to crash on along the routes? or suggestions of good cheap places to spend the night. Im a Canadian Air Force veteran.

but its Feb now...
Going south is the best down 1 as you will be on the outside and the
views are gorgeous!!! Allow some time to enjoy your trip!!!! I

Most of the AVA members are in the mid-west or on the right coast.
You probably know about sites like https://www.bunkabiker.org/. I don't have any experience with them, but I might give it a go on my next trip. They're more oriented to helping strangers meet.
Other forums have more active travel threads, especially https://www.advrider.com. I'm sure they have more threads about your planned route than you even want to read, with suggestions well beyond accommodations. There are a lot of camping options, especially along the inland routes you mentioned; but it sounds like you aren't bringing camping gear. (In the day, I camped all along the PCH, but now it's way too traveled. Beautiful just the same.)
