I find myself sometimes wishing the stock mirrors were bigger. They work and are adequate but could use some help. They dont seem big enough to put a stick on blind spot helper. I had a pair of Saeng blind spot mirrors that attached to the windshield on a BMW K12LT I had years ago. They are great but I dont remember them costing $253 dollars

So has anyone replaced the stock mirror or have a add on solution?
Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!

Blind spot and or extra or different mirror options?

I replaced those gawdawful stock handlebars with one intended for a T140 Triumph, and then cut it even narrower. Got my elbows out of the mirrors — and my hands out of cold wind.
I also ditched all traces of the factory radio, fabricated a blank cover where the speakers used to be, and put spot mirrors there.

I use stick-ons in the lower inside corners. Love 'em. Got them at AutoZone IIRC. They're fairly small, but big enough to do the job. Still no substitute for looking over my shoulders!Bonnie and Clyde wrote: ↑Sun Jul 03, 2022 3:59 pm I find myself sometimes wishing the stock mirrors were bigger. Re: Blind spot and or extra or different mirror options?
I never thought of the mirrors as to small, but have had mirror extensions on my last couple of XII's. Getting them moved out a couple of inches makes all the difference in the world, no more blind spot trying to see last your own arms. Contact Kevin Wanner if you need a set. He makes a great set of extensions, they look good and only takes a few minutes to put them on.
