Battery issues

Post by ted1r »

Hi there guys hope you are all ok ,What battery do you recommend for a 1200? I know the manual says 20 Amp but in the UK I can only get an 18 Amp
Another thought is could I put another Battery in series utilising the right hand fairing box as it will take 14 Amp battery,

Any thoughts will be appreciated .

So long as it is the same physical size and terminal/vent locations 18 Amp works just fine.
Remember the radio memory will drain the battery over 2 - 3 weeks if the bike is not run so I use a .75 Amp battery tender
to avoid that issue.
Other more daily riders than I may not have that problem. YMMV.
