Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!

Drive shaft fluid leak question
Noticed this red fluid leaking onto the exhaust below the left foot peg from the shaft. I just had it fully serviced. Is some leakage to be expected from overfill, or just a service in general?

Re: Drive shaft fluid leak question
Red sounds like it was changed, perhaps overfilled. New front differential oil seal is not particularly expensive or hard to replace.

Re: Drive shaft fluid leak question
There should be no fluid leaking there.See if you can identify where the fluid is coming from, and where there is red fluid.
If the o-ring between the final drive and the drive shaft is weak, and if the final drive is overfull, that could be the source,if the oil is red.
If the fluid is antifreeze and the coolant bottle behind the left chrome cover is overfull, that could be your source of fluid also,if the coolant is red.
Please keep us posted.

Re: Drive shaft fluid leak question
I agree with Misfit - overfilled final drive. Should be filled to 1/4" below the fill plug - if filled all the way (as per the manuals) it will leak like you noticed.
