Being as I am new to the board I thought I had better say Hey....
Long time wrencher with many project bikes that have come and gone. Own a few and they are in my profile info.
Just picked up a very broken down and tipped over ZG1200, looking forward to seeing what I can do with her. I hear they have great engines and for the money I could not pass up the new project adventure.
Looking forward to search the forum for all kinds of info on this bike. Hope to be able to help contribute when I can.
Thanks
Tim

Welcome to the Association Tim.
There isn't much one can not find out about the XII with this great bunch of owners.
You are right about the engine, they are virtually bullet proof with proper planned maintenance.
I would recommend a post in the General-Voyager XII(1200 FOUR) section of the Voyager model forums by Nails. It is a "Stickie" entitled New owners of Voyager XII (1 of 2) and it contains a lot of valuable info you may find helpful.
Have fun and ask away when you need to.

Welcome,Timbox,to the very friendly, and helpful AVA forum.
As you have already heard, this family offers a lot of great advice to help with any issues you may come across.
I bought my '99 in 2009 with 22,000 miles on it for $5000,and have enjoyed it ever since, having put 87,750 miles on it
