Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.

Found a couple of salvage bikes today while wondering the internet if anyone is interested. There both to far for me.
1st one in Amarillo Tx, 1986,, looks like upper and lower fairing damage, as well as windshield. Rest of front end looks undamaged from pictures...site says "front end, all over damage from a collision".
2nd one is in Gorham Maine. 1987, Pictures refuse to come up on that one so don't know what if any damage other than what site says "front end; undercarriage damage from a collision."
Not sure how far away you are from Tama, Iowa, but there is a '90 parts/fixer upper on Cedar Rapids Craigslist.
I called the guy, and he wasn't ready to go as low as I wanted it but we did have a nice visit for a while over the phone. He farms, so he may be hard to get a hold of. Said he was going to put it in storage over winter if he can't get it sold. If it shows up again this spring, I'm going to call him back. All the plastic looks really good in the pictures.
It's missing the faux tank (and cruise box), has leaky bowl gaskets, and at one time had a battery break in it and compromised the finish on the engine. He says it runs great, but he isn't going to mess with it.
....That will clear out the garage in a hurry ! Two touring bikes and two spare engines GONE all at once ,will free up some space for more bikes ! Nice price on this package deal !

That's the same guy that had just the parts for sale that never got back with me about a month ago.. called him.. left voice messages, emailed messages.. nada, no replies.
