Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!
Hi! I'm looking for a foot peg mount that will twist so the peg aims back at the driver... normal mounts are 90*
and leave your foot at an angle on the peg and can be uncomfortable after a bit...I need to change the angle of the
foot peg so it aims right back at me.
Instead of the pegs sticking out at 90* I want to be able to twist them so the angle to me is more like 60*...
so my foot, when comfortable on the pegs, is resting flat...

So your looking for a 1/4 steel plate that bolts to the frame and has two tapped holes that are going to have the peg's bolted at a 30 deg angle from the OEM ?

... actually, I know something I’m looking for exists, and I’m looking for a name!!,
my problem just can’t be unique, I thing I’ve seen’um but no way to identify
what I’m looking at....

Cranky I think Gene has the right Idea. I had some plates like that mounted on my Honda CM200T bikes back in the eighties. We extended the existing passenger pegs for the kids to ride with us. Shawn was 5 then and couldn't reach the pegs.
Slightly off target, but related... Have you seen these Emgo Floorboards? I've got them mounted on the engine guard bars. Work well for me, and my wife, when she is driving. Can be mounted at most angles, just remove from the bike, loosen the bolts, turn to the desired angle, tighten the inside bolts, and re-mount to the engine guard bars. Price is nice, too: $38.50 with free shipping on Amazon.com. Cheers!
Please don’t get me wrong but ..... “smooch”!!!!! just exactly what I
was looking for and I knew it was out there but I couldn’t find it,
thank you very much!!!!!!!

... OK, mounted the floor boards..... couple of observations...
they didn't have the angle-ability I had hoped for, but lookin' at 'um, I'll
guess many ways to add it... the one I chose, yet to do... is drill and tap
a hole in the board within 1/4" of the end of the support peg the board
rests on... thread a bolt into the board and create a peg/stop to hold the
boards at any angle I want.... within reason....
My big hangup is the damn crash bars forward support where it comes up
to the bars!!! It's right where I'd like to put 'um!!!! So I'll leave 'um
right next the the support arm and try 'um for a while.....
.... and yes... I can put my heels on the floor boards, I do have them...
and my toes on the Emgo boards... I'd like just a tad more reach....
but I'll try 'um for a while.... Thanks to all!!!!
The first pic has a pencil line on the floorboard where the support square
piece hits the board.. The last pic was where I can drill and tap the floor
board and sink a screw and leverage against that bar and introduce an
angle adjustment, if needed....

I use the same ones, recommended by Fyrchin. Mounted them just like his were and similar to the way you mounted your foot boards Cranky only with a rear facing angle! With just enough angle to make the rest comfortable and I can even (like Furchin) reach the back edge with my toes if I want to utilize both the factory pegs and boards at the same time.

... only difference is I have floorboards for the driver, and they mount lower
than the pegs... and yess, I can still get my toes onto the Emgo boards...
yet to try them.. but I know they work, only thing is if I need to extend
'um out any further.... onward.....

Cranky, I hope they work out for you. We love them. Been using them since around 2008, on two different bikes. Affordable, and they work. They're not the most durable, being made of aluminum, but after dropping both bikes, and breaking two pairs, they don't cost so much that I get upset replacing them... Cheers!
